Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced Automotive Internet Sales Manager to lead and manage our Internet sales activities. You will play a key role in generating and managing online sales leads, guiding customers through the purchasing process, and contributing to our dealership’s ongoing success.

Responsibilities

  • Contact customers and conduct needs analysis to identify desired vehicle make, model, and features.
  • Explain product features and demonstrate vehicle operation in the showroom or on the road.
  • Research vehicle availability and optional equipment using the dealership’s computer database.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Finance & Insurance Managers to negotiate sales price, including tax, trade-in values, licensing fees, discounts, and financing or lease terms.
  • Perform regular visual inspections of inventory on the lot.
  • Complete all paperwork and arrange for vehicle delivery and registration.
  • Deliver vehicles to customers and familiarize them with their new vehicles.
  • Attend required training sessions and department meetings to stay updated on policies and product knowledge.
  • Maintain regular and predictable attendance to support dealership operations.

Work Hours

This is a full-time, in-person position with hours consistent with dealership operations.

Job Requirements:
  • Minimum two years of automotive Internet sales experience.
  • At least one year of management experience or equivalent training in Internet sales, or a related combination of education and experience.
  • Strong sales, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational and follow-up abilities to maintain client relationships before and after sales.
  • Current valid driver’s license.
  • Basic math skills, including the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
