Position Overview

The Fleet Service Technician plays a key role in ensuring quality vehicle service and customer satisfaction. This position requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication with customers and the service team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately troubleshoot and diagnose customer vehicle concerns using updated technical tools
  • Provide courteous and professional service to all customers encountered
  • Assist in greeting customers near the Service Drive to ensure prompt acknowledgment
  • Stay current with technical publications, service communications, and terminal operations
  • Deliver safe, reliable, and high-quality vehicle repairs the first time
  • Address all customer concerns thoroughly before recommending additional services
  • Inspect vehicles for maintenance and repair opportunities according to factory and local recommendations
  • Return customers' vehicles in a clean or cleaner condition than received
  • Participate in factory and in-house training programs
  • Complete all required paperwork accurately and attach all necessary documentation
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Service Manager or supervisory staff
  • Maintain punctuality and present a professional appearance with a clean uniform

Work Environment

This is an in-person, full-time role based at our Apache Junction location.

Job Requirements:

Qualifications

  • Experience in warranty and non-warranty inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repair across various vehicle makes and models
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed work goals
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Professional appearance and strong work ethic
  • Positive attitude and high energy level
  • Superior customer service skills
  • Ability to read and comprehend technical instructions
  • Sound judgment and decision-making abilities
  • Valid state driver’s license with a good driving record

Education and Certifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • ASE certification or equivalent technical aptitude required
  • Technical or trade school degree preferred
